Seroba Life Sciences is pleased to announce that it will sponsor a major European Medtech Summit in Dublin during April. The conference, now in its 6th year, will be held at the Shelbourne Hotel from 17th to 19th of April.
500 delegates from around the world are expected to attend the Summit, including many innovative Irish medtech companies seeking funding for the next phase of their development. 40 Venture Capital firms with funds of over €6 Billion to invest in promising technologies will gather at the Summit where more than 40 start-ups will present.
The 3-day agenda also includes presentations and Q&A sessions with key opinion leaders in the medtech industry and once again the final of the hugely popular competition for start-ups – MedTech Innovator – will take place during the conference. Industry giants like Johnson and Johnson, Medtronic, Boston Scientific and Baxter will also be in Dublin for the Summit, which is considered the pre-eminent medtech investment event in Europe.
The conference features numerous break-out rooms where medtech companies whose presentations catch the eye of investors in the main auditorium can go to discuss their innovations and plans in greater depth and in private. As a side-bar to the conference, the Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI) and Trinity College Dublin will host a pre-conference event on 16th April at 6.30pm, featuring presentations on the role of the clinician in medical device innovation.
